Kayte debated for four years at The Nueva School, where she co-captained the Public Forum team for three years. During her career, she was ranked as high as #1 in the nation and received invitations to all of the top round robins. Kayte’s accomplishments include winning ASU, reaching semifinals at both Jack Howe and Bronx, and advancing to outrounds at tournaments like TOC, Glenbrooks, UKSO, Presentation, Milpitas, and Emory. She has a particular favor for kritiks and lay debate. Kayte excels in providing round feedback and supporting students with lay and kritik case construction. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes student-driven learning, encouraging iterative revision and growth rather than aiming for perfection on the first try.
