Malcolm debated for Newton South High School some time ago. He has coached all kinds of debate for several years at Strath Haven, Hunter College, and now the Nueva School. Malcolm's students have won major tournaments like the Tournament of Champions, the New York City Invitational, Arizona State, Harvard, and the Round Robins at Bronx Science, College Prep, and Ivy Street. Malcolm studied philosophy and history at Swarthmore College. Malcolm is a great fan of philosophical arguments in debate, but has spent many years coaching the politics disadvantage all the same.
