Rashid Campbell is a nationally recognized debate champion, educator, and coach with a proven track record of developing high-performing students and leaders. As a competitor at the University of Oklahoma, Rashid rose to the highest levels of collegiate debate, becoming the first African American to win the Top Speaker Award at the National Debate Tournament and earning recognition as a National Champion Policy Debater with over 30 national awards.
Following his competitive success, Rashid served as Director of Debate for the Bay Area Urban Debate League, where he coached and developed the program’s first national champions. His leadership extended beyond competition, as he designed and implemented curriculum for over 200 students, organized large-scale tournaments, and built systems that supported student growth, critical thinking, and public speaking excellence.In addition to his work in debate, Rashid brings over eight years of experience as a coach, program leader, and curriculum developer in career development and technical education.
He has coached over 600 individuals, led teams of educators, and created high-impact training programs focused on communication, strategy, and performance.Rashid is passionate about empowering students to find their voice, think critically, and compete with confidence.
