Veer Prakash

Veer Prakash is a senior at NYU Stern studying Business and Political Economy. He competed in Public Forum for four years at Durham Academy in Durham, North Carolina. Veer was a three-time qualifier to the NSDA National Tournament, placing 2nd in 2023 and 14th in 2021. He was a two-time state champion and gained 15 gold bids to the Tournament of Champions, reaching the semifinals. In his senior year, Veer won the Princeton, Duke, and Yale invitationals, as well as the King Round Robin. He was a top 5 speaker at the Barkley Forum. Veer has coached at a number of institutions, including the Institute for Speech and Debate, the National Symposium for Debate, the Taipei American School, the Charlotte Latin School, and Langley High School. Currently, he coaches for Durham Academy. His students have won the UK Season Opener (twice), Stanford Invitational (twice), the Cavalier Invitational, and NCFL Grand Nationals. He's super excited to be a part of the NDC team this year!
