Veniese's coaching style is structured yet supportive, emphasizing critical thinking, thorough preparation, and respectful engagement across differences. She has coached students to build strong, evidence-based arguments, sharpen their public speaking, and compete with clarity and poise, whether they are stepping into their first round or refining an already advanced competitive edge. Her students have gone on to top tournament finishes and selective universities, with communication skills consistently cited as the quality that set them apart.
She holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts i from the University of Pennsylvania. Her legal training and her background as a writing and literature educator give her a distinctive lens on argumentation, evidence, and the craft of persuasion.
Veniese is especially excited to coach because she believes debate empowers students to find their voice and see themselves as leaders. She is committed to creating an environment where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential, both in competition and beyond.
